At approximately 14:50 B2B were made aware that some customer were unable to log in to their shop.

We were able to determine that the problem was being caused by long lasting locks on various tables within our main database.  Despite several restarts of the database server the locks continued to be made and at approximately 15:18 the decision was made to temporarily disable the site and display a maintenance message.

Once general traffic was stopped we were soon able to identify the cause of the locks. A temporary block on the viewing of some admin screens was applied and the  maintenance page was turned off at 15:47.

We are now working on permanent solutions to the effected admin screens and hope to have them available again soon.
