Degraded Website Performance - 3rd Update

Over the past 24 hours or so we have received occasional complaints about slower site response times than normal.

This has been traced to a data import from a customer that is consuming large amounts of SQL Server processor times and connections.  We are doing everything we can to minimise this effect but due to the customer's systems being unavailable overnight we are having to carry out this import during working hours.

We will continue to monitor the situation but expect the data imports to be complete by approximately 16:00 today (Tue 28 Nov 2017).

Our apologies for this degraded performance during this time.

UPDATE:

The last import groups are proving to be larger than earlier groups and the expected completion estimate has has to be extended to 17:00  We apologise for this inconvenience.

2nd UPDATE:

Due to challenges at the customer's database server the work did not complete yesterday as planned. We now expect completion before 10:00 today (Wed 29 Nov).

3rd UPDATE:

The import work has now completed and website performance should be returning to normal.  Please raise a support ticket if you continue to experience degraded performance and we will investigate.
